Over 5,000 years ago, roses first began to appear in the gardens of Chinese royalty. As early as 500 BCE, emperors kept dozens or even hundreds of books on the breeding and keeping of roses in their private libraries. And much like their own red-crowned floral companions, cranes were also symbolic of elegance and magnificence. In honor of these stunning ancient gardens, we have selected an incredibly natural-smelling rose candle, free from the powdery and artificial notes of many modern-day rose fragrances.
